14. 11. 2023
EP Infrastructure, a.s. (“EPIF”) is pleased to announce that on 31 October 2023 it received an ESG Risk Rating of 20.2 from Morningstar Sustainalytics, a leading provider of environmental, social and governance research, ratings and data assessing companies’ resilience to environmental, social and governance risks. The rating was subsequently updated in November to reflect the latest changes in selected benchmarking indicators of EPIF’s competitors, resulting in the score of 19.8. While this result represents a slight deterioration in the score from 18.2 received last year (the lower score, the better), EPIF retained its position in the low-risk category and secured 12th place out of 104 companies in the Multi-utilities sector.
In response to the issued rating update, Petr Choutka, the Sustainability manager of EPIF stated that “I am particularly pleased that our Group successfully navigated through the challenging circumstances on energy markets, while not compromising on environmental and social aspects of its operations. This was apparently recognized in the strong ESG rating result. EPIF remains committed to its role as a key player in a socially acceptable energy transition”.
